Why I Am a Republican
I believe in self-reliance and personal responsibility in an absolute sense. Charity should only be dispensed at the discretion of the individual and not implemented by force by a coercive government. The Republican party in a practical sense best represents these ideals. The Democrat party is morally defunct. Gail Wickstrom

“I grew up in Arizona, a largely Republican state. The idea that hard work pays off appeals to me. If you want to say that I believe in capitalism, well fine. What’s the alternative? I believe turning our country into a welfare state is morally wrong and not what the founding fathers had in mind.” DGM

I am a Republican because the Party’s philosophy reflects my views. Nita Resler, Weirton, WV

I do not confuse Democracy with the Democratic Party, like many early immigrates did. As when they heard the word Republican Party they thought of adjuncts as in the Soviet Republic and deemed it evil. Lets be very clear that the Republican Party stands for true representation of the people by the people. Y.D.
